Booker
Personal Financial Assistant
Turn financial anxiety into practical insights.
About the project
Managing personal finances is hard. Users struggle with tracking where their money goes, understanding their actual net worth, and knowing whether they're making good financial decisions.
Booker solves this. It's a mobile app that makes money management simple — intuitive expense tracking, a clear visual overview of your financial health, and an AI assistant that delivers personalized, practical advice.
Process
I structured the project using the Double Diamond framework, combining market and competitive research with hypothesis-driven design and iterative self-critique at each stage.

Prototype
By gamifying finance with XP, tier levels, and visual goal trackers, Booker motivates long-term engagement and positive financial behaviors, turning mundane saving into a rewarding journey.
Booker’s AI assistant, acts as a proactive guide, offering context-aware quick actions like spending summaries and budget checks—shifting the app from a passive tracker to an active financial partner.
Two sides of financial clarity: the Journal captures the daily narrative of your money, and the Finance reveals the bigger picture of your wealth—eliminating the need to toggle between separate tracking and investment apps.
The logo embodies the app's core principle: bringing clarity and order to personal finance.
